This is my first journal entry so I thought I'd use it to describe my most recent photo-taking expedition.

Yesterday, we went off down the east coast of Scotland and took a whole bunch of photos. The sun was very low in the sky and there was a lot of cloud around, but when the sun did come out it cast an excellent glow over everything - the seas were just amazing but almost impossible to capture the power of them on photo.

I've published four photos today, and more will follow. Thanks to Dabro for making yesterday great, for driving us around for most of the day looking for opportunities, and for hanging around in the freezing cold. He has an excellent eye for photos too - so if you like mine, make sure you look at his, as I'm sure they're even better.
